Lakshya Foundation commemorates Gandhi Jayanti with a heartwarming Swacchata Hi Seva event in Lavhali, the same village where we transformed a school. Mr. Shirish Patil, our chief trustee, along with our dedicated team and the students of Z.P. School Lavhali, came together to clean, reflect on Gandhiji’s teachings, pledge for cleanliness, and sing patriotic songs. It’s a celebration of cleanliness, community, and our commitment to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision.
In the heart of the forest, Lavhali village’s z.p. school faced neglect and decay. Lakshya Foundation and Synechron Technologies united to reverse this fate. Dilapidated classrooms, unusable toilets, and a lack of facilities hindered education. Through focused efforts and Synechron’s CSR initiative, the school was reborn. Strengthened pillars, vibrant painting, gender-inclusive toilets, solar power, and improved infrastructure turned it into a beacon of hope. Families even transferred kids from English convent schools to experience the remarkable change. The journey culminated in an inauguration on 11 July 2023, a testament to collaboration, dedication, and transformation.
In the wake of the global pandemic, when the digital realm became a sanctuary for education, tribal villages like Nambarwadi stood on the brink of exclusion. Lakshya Foundation’s unwavering commitment shone as it partnered with educators and volunteers to bridge the gap. The initiative saw books, stationery, and knowledge knocking on each student’s doorstep, reaffirming the power of human connection in the face of adversity.
Within the heart of Lavhali, a tribal village tucked away in nature’s embrace, an abandoned community hall transformed into “Eklavya Katta”—a vibrant sanctuary of learning, inspiration, and empowerment. From theme paintings to cupboards of books, and a dedicated newspaper reading point to a notice board of opportunities, this metamorphosis embraced culture, education, and practicality. The legacy of Eklavya Katta stands as a testament to the transformative power of collective effort, encapsulating Lakshya Foundation’s mission to illuminate minds and shape futures.
In the heart of the remote Nambarwadi village, a luminous transformation took place on the 14th of October in 2016. Lakshya Foundation, with the support of Mr. Sachin Magare and his colleagues, replaced the old rooftops of the Primary School with new, transparent acrylic sheets. This act didn’t just bring light to the classrooms, but also kindled the flame of possibility and empowerment for the students and the entire village.
Amidst the tranquility of Lavhali village, Lakshya Foundation, in collaboration with Sciformix Technologies, orchestrated a transformative healthcare endeavor. On the 18th of May in 2016, the medical camp resonated with the robust health of the villagers while spotlighting the challenge of anemia among women. Beyond diagnosis and treatment, the camp became a bridge of empowerment, showcasing the power of compassion and partnership.

On the 18th of May in 2016, the distribution of solar lamps transcended practicality—it became a beacon of empowerment for a 100% tribal village. In the darkness of isolation, these lamps not only brought light but also ignited a spark of hope, symbolizing the transformative power of collective action.
In Lavali village, the essence of life lay trapped beneath layers of mud and impurities. The public well, a lifeline for the community, had fallen victim to neglect, endangering clean water access for around 600 people. Lakshya Foundation’s determined efforts on the 18th of May in 2016 marked a turning point. A collective endeavor to remove the encroaching mud brought purity back to the well’s water and rejuvenated the spirits of a village that depends on it. This act of unity and restoration reflects Lakshya Foundation’s commitment to sustaining life’s core essentials.
